| The Inn at the Green is a classically proportioned 1876 "Baltimore" townhouse located on the south end of the Poland Village Green. Situated on a slight rise, the Inn has a sweeping view down Main Street, lined with Connecticut Western Reserve, Federal, and Greek Revival early century homes. The Inn's architecture has all the grandeur and charm of by-gone days. Large mouldings, ten foot ceilings, five fireplaces (with electric inserts), interior window shutters, and original poplar floors add to the special atmosphere of the Inn. Located on the tree-lined village green within Poland's historic district, The Inn at the Green warmly invites its guests to step inside its charming Victorian walls. History is even reflected in the front of the inn, where one can see a sign erected at a stop of the Youngstown Trolley Co., which formed in 1913. |
